If one has a natural pout, then use subtle shades in red, plum or cherry. Dark skin tones need to keep the colors very mild and browns or rust shades are the best. If one would love to use red on a dark skin there a base moisturized foundation would seem necessary. Use a subtle red shade and seal it with a lip balm.
The neck is often neglected and moisturizer is very essential and taking the make up to the neck is also important. Stopping the make up at the chin gives the neck and face a different color. Blushers or cheek colors depend on the shape of the jaw, chin and also the bone structure. Plump faces need to have a good haircut and make up has to efficient to take away the chubbiness from the face.
Use of silver or golden glitter may suit only some and depends on the kind of image one needs to portray. A daily routine make up can be a kohl liner, a lip balm and a powder on the cheeks. Hair should be in place and arranged with hands when left loose. Accessories and footwear also add to the charisma.
