Cosmetics in entirety are to enhance one’s appearance and used for the same purpose by many people over the world. Cosmetics are just limited to women but also men use cosmetics to groom themselves. There are a number of products under the terms cosmetics. Face products like foundations, concealer, loose powder, pressed powder, for the cheeks – blush, bronzer, highlighters, eye products like eye shadows, eye liners, paint pots, mascaras, lip products – lipsticks, lip stains, glosses etc.
Each one of the above is a prominent product that to available in different variants like liquid or sticks or pressed makes for a huge market of cosmetics all over the world. These are the general products used by everyone. There are much more than are not mentioned here and have various uses.
Face Products – When start with makeup, face cosmetics are to create a flawless base to whether work on your face. The base being your face, products like concealer can be used to hide any blemishes or birthmarks or moles. People who don’t prefer to get cosmetic surgeries, makeup is a great way to hide whatever you want to.
Lipsticks – Lipsticks are a basic cosmetic item you’ll find in every woman’s pursue. Be it lipsticks, lip stains, lip glosses, liquid lipsticks coupled with lip primers, a lip pencil and a lip brush, they can transform your small lips to big and dry lips to seductive Angelina Jolie’s.
Eye Products – Most of the time eyes and lips both are the two main features you try to highlight on anyone’s face. Eye shadows, eye liners, shade sticks make the task easier and make the eyes stand out and expressive.
Different types of makeup are available like powder based and liquid or gel based. Depending on your skin type and look, cosmetics can change your look.
Cosmetics have a certain date after they should not be used. Many of us stock up cosmetics without realizing that opened cosmetics or regularly used cosmetics develop bacteria, which when applied can cause acne and irritate the skin. A favorite lipstick or a shade of eye shadow kept too long is not preserved but an enemy for the skin. If you do not use a known brand or even if it happens to a top brand, all cosmetics have a due date.
There are two ways you can go about to make your cosmetics last longer i.e. using your cosmetics wisely by avoiding wastage and also by avoiding spoilage.
For liquids like glosses, paint pots, mascaras, liners, liquids lipsticks, dispose off that crossed maximum a year cause this can get gooey and stocky and cannot be cleaned. Instead buy new ones to replace these.
For your face products like powder, blushes clean your makeup tools regularly. Wash your brushes and sponges and trim your brushes to avoid shedding and accumulation of bacteria. By working your brushes on your face and then again touches your powder with it, there is chance you will end up transferring facial oil to it. Your cakes can harden over time as a result to this. Same goes for women who apply makeup using fingers. This increases the changes of bacteria existing on makeup. Use a scraping knife to take off the top layer from time to time and if you want instead using only a bit, you can scrape the bit and put it on a palette.
Try using alternatives for your products like talc in place of loose powder, Vaseline in place of lip gloss. If you have a box full of nail polishes and haven’t used them for a while now, add alcohol to them to avoid sticky nail paints. Do not use nail polish remover as it weakens the paint molecules.
If you do not want to bear the cost of expensive make ups and sponges, use cotton buds and pads as the soft cotton helps brush loose powder evenly on the face.
The wonderful and fascinating world of make up and the art of natural male up application, which enlightens the evergreen and the effervescent comment that a great and wise man in the huge world of fashion and make up had once made- which was to the effect that make up is the best when it looks like there is no make up on! Women who look translucent in their skin tones and women who wear make up and make it look so natural that it looks as though it is their skin that has that natural tint and glow, whilst actually it is the contributing impact that a wonderful make up element has on skin. Foundation has the capacity to make skin look thick or unnatural, and the foundation can often look ‘cakey’ which means that the layer can look thick or applied in a way projecting unnatural effects and impacts on skin. The idea or the key is to have make up that can be applied with ease and make up that looks light as well. Every make up company that is competitive and has a high ranking in the market today, is trying to come up with ideas and innovative concepts to make their make up lines light and flowy, as opposed to earlier, when make up was cakey or unnaturally thick or the opposite of light.
Dior is a fantastic name in the world of cosmetics. It is safe to say that is one of the largest and the most effective as well as the most exclusive brands in cosmetics that the world has seen, and this has been its usp- unique selling point as well as its image over many years and decades. The beauty of Dior is that the make up came about from the name behind the fame- Christian Dior. The brand emerged as a popular name and title in the less creative but yet, multi-brand market for cosmetics in the time that it came about or was introduced, in other words. Today, Dior is synonymous with the best, with the most exclusive, with popularity that is the same with trial and tests and with not one itch of error and not one inch of loss of credibility either in all of the years that Dior has been. Dior has the best line of cosmetics- such as lipsticks, lip colourings and shades, blushes, foundations and every other make up element one can think of. Trust Dior for all of one’s make up requirements. The make up that Dior line carries in it is effortless and marvelous. Marvelous because the creations are gorgeous and suit tonalities of skin to large extents, in ways that make women go ga-ga and come back for more from Dior. From creative ideas of puches, make up kits and miniature versions of make up, such as five-in a pack lip colour glosses and many more make up items that make one really marvel at their wonderful ways of dressing women up in terms of make up!
There is make up that looks cakey and thick as well as unnatural at times on certain people, and then there is make up that can be universally used and with usage, it makes your skin look radiant and light, as opposed to the former stated heaviness that sets in with certain make up products or certain make up that can cause that effect. Earlier or in the formative years when make up had just come about, there was a generic belief that make up created thickness and there was no way that make up could ever make skin look natural. That is why the term make-up (stems from something that is a put on or made up element) came about, in all probability.

Make up that suits skins of all types, of all textures and of all shades, are brands such as Body Shop, Dior, Estee Lauder, Chambor and L’Oreal. Besides these, there are other shades and other colours that sit well with every skin type that there is. in other words, there are other brands besides the ones that were stated, that give a natural impact and effect on skin tones and tonalities, as well as suit every skin type to the tee. Chambor is not as high end as a brand like say, Dior or Estee Lauder or Sisley. But Chambor has a range of colorings to choose from that have vibrant colours like purples and pinks, as well as subtle nudes and browns, in lip shades and blushes, eye shadows and more, which can be used by every skin type. For instance, an Asian skin type would be able to wear Chambor and carry it off well and with ease. Dior also has palettes of make up and sets of colours that can be chosen from, as the variety is so large, and there is a colour and a shade that will fit with exact proportionate feasibility on every conceivable skin type that there is in the world. The beauty of the brands like Dior and Estee Lauder is the ability for them to transform the faces of women. Transformation from, for example, pimpled skin, to looking flawlessly untampered (with the use of some marvelous foundation and compact powders), or in transforming a tired face of a long day, to a face that is fresh and lovely.
